The topic I chose for project one is medicine. I want to know if it will continue to improve and if so, how will it affect the future. I also want to know if there are possibilities of cures for any big diseases out there (heart, aids, diabities, etc) 
Great topic, Jarek. I'm sure there is a lot of research material available out there regarding predictions about the future of medicine. Obviously there is the potential for a great deal of good. Have you thought about the more complex issues related to the future of medicine? For example, the economic divide in our country is quickly growing. Do you see medical and pharmaceutical advances improving the lives of all citizens equally? What do you predict in terms of the future of medical research? How might labs look and function in the future? Do you see a marriage of eastern and western approaches to healthcare? What will be the impact of capitalism? Technology? Etc.
